In the competitive full-size truck market, it can sometimes be hard to find ways to truly differentiate yourself from the opposition. The Ram Truck brand certainly found an interesting way recently, though. At the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, Ram lined up 451 pickup trucks for a parade—a new Guinness World Record.
The longest pickup truck parade, which broke the old record of 438 trucks, drove a total of 3.2 miles in its parade route. The owners of the trucks drove in from seven states and even from Canada to be part of the record-breaking endeavor. “Our hard-working Ram truck owners are passionate and loyal, and today they proved once again that everything is always bigger in Texas,” said Robert Hegbloom, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ram Truck Brand, FCA North America. “Ram is the fastest growing truck brand in Texas, where trucks are king.”
The parade route snaked around from the east side of AT&T Stadium, around the giant building, and even through the grounds of Globe Life Park, where the Texas Rangers play across the street. Along the long route, it showed off all the different shapes, kinds, and colors of Ram Trucks and their owners. To join the parade of Ram owners around the world, come see us at Roger Williams CDJR.
