The spring season is finally here and with it comes warmer weather! Winter is a cruel season to say the least and it can do a number on your car. Luckily for you, getting your car ready for the warmer weather is a cinch! Here are a couple of quick car care tips from Roger Williams CDJR.

  • car washWiper Blades – Safety comes with visibility and that’s exactly why you need to inspect your wiper blades. Keep an eye out for wear and cracks as both can seriously limit visibility in rain. You never know when a spring storm will strike so make sure your wiper blades are capable of doing their job!
  • Tire Pressure – While checking your tire tread is a top priority, so is maintaining the proper tire pressure. The winter temperatures lowered your tire pressure and if you added more (we hope you did), that could hurt your tires over spring and summer as they expand. If you added air during winter, check to make sure your tires are still at the manufacturer-suggested pressure.
  • Wash and Wax – Your car likely picked up some dirt, grime, and salt over winter. With spring finally here, you can wash all the debris away, effectively saving your car’s paint in the long run. Dirt and grime can hurt your finish while salt can cause rust. Keep your car looking pristine longer with a simple wash and wax.
