It looks like the Chrysler ad campaign titled “Drive Proud” is getting a little touch of “winter”–Game of Thrones style. Cue Peter Dinklage, known for playing the character Tyrion Lannister on the hit HBO TV show, whose deep vibrato and stern voice narrates, “There is no royal blood in this country.”
Set against an industrial backdrop, the 2015 Chrysler 300 ad entitled “Kings and Queens of America” indicates that success is for those who “reach out and take it”–and unlike the seven monarchies of Game of Thrones, one does not need to utilize “fire and blood.”
Also featured in the ad are successful businessmen and women including: Lynn Le, founder of Society Nine; Alexis Ohanian, cofounder of Reddit; Becky Hammon, the first full-time female NBA assistant coach; Smith Henderson, a novelist; and Kwaku Alston, a photographer.
